What is Christmas at the Park?

Christmas at the Park is a winter wonderland with over a half-mile drive-through of an estimated 37 collections consisting of 399 pieces with over 350,000 lights. We are excited to capitalize on the trees at Joe Mack Campbell to offer a Snowflake Forest as well as what we believe to be the United States longest drive-through lighted tunnel at a football field length of 300’.


What is Christmas at the Park Downtown Expressway?

Need a ride to see the lights? Downtown for dinner and want to create an adventure? We are so excited to announce a partnership with the City’s public transportation, JET!


On December 6, 12, 17 & 22, JET will begin the route at the Cate & Church parking lot at 5:00 p.m. and arrive at Christmas at the Park about 5:20 p.m. and continue route every 30 minutes until 9:30 p.m.. The last bus going will leave Christmas at the Park at 9:30 p.m. back to the Cate & Church parking area. Customers will be able to depart the bus at the concession area and return on the next bus. They will be provided a ticket for the return trip.


Passengers pay the normal rate that JET charges to ride the bus. Upon arrival at the park, there is a $5 Cash per adult (18+) admission fee for entry into Christmas at the Park. Passengers under the age of 17 enter for free.


Where is the closest ATM?

Our sponsor bank, Iberiabank, has two locations that you may find easily accessible from Joe Mack Campbell Park.  Accessing from the highway, the south location is at 2702 S. Culberhouse Road. If accessing from Dan Ave./Johnson the north location is 420 S. Main Street.


Where can I find my picture with Santa?

We update the pictures with Santa page as soon as possible. You can find this page here on our Media Page.


Where can I purchase Admission/Tickets and how much does it cost?

For admission information, visit our Buy Your Tickets page. Admission passes purchased online incur the online processing fee, credit card process fee, and sales tax. Admission passes purchased at the gate are the face value of the ticket without fees. **Please be advised of scammers or resellers selling admission passes — we can only guarantee entry when official passes are purchased from our tickets page or at the gate.**


When is the park open?

For general dates and special events, visit the Events page.  Also, on this page is a calendar view of all open dates with activities. Operating hours on nights the park is open are 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with gates closing 30 minutes prior to the advertised closing time. Special events may affect opening/closing time. 


Where is it located? How do I enter the park?

Joe Mack Campbell Park (3021 Dan Ave., Jonesboro, AR 72401). You will enter from Harry Dr. at the Dollar General store and travel approximately one mile to the entrance of the park.  You will exit back on Dan Ave.


Will Santa be there? Does it cost to have a picture with Santa?

Yes, he will be there most nights!  No, it does not cost to take a picture with Santa! Visit the full calendar on the Events page to view dates of when Santa will be present.


Is there live entertainment?

During Special Events, there may be live entertainment.  Visit the Events page and view what special events are happening this season.


Are there food/beverages?

Yes! Christmas at the Park has partnered with the City Stars program to operate the concession stand. All proceeds support the local athletic programs.


Handicap Accessibility?

There is a dedicated handicap parking area, ramp to the concession stand area, and handicap accessible restrooms. Please note, flashing lights are used throughout the park so individuals prone to photosensitive epilepsy should consult a physician before attending. 


Are pets allowed?

Animals are allowed in your vehicle but not at the concession stand.  Service animals welcome but must be leashed.  Please notify a Christmas at the Park staff upon arrival.


Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes! Jonesboro has a variety of restaurants to suit anyone's appetite.  


Are there other activities to do in the area?

Yes! For additional Christmas activities, visit our Regional Christmas Attractions page but you will also find lots of fun at Hijinx from laser tag, games, bowling, and so much more.


Are there hotels nearby?

There are numerous hotels in the area that can accommodate you staying overnight in Jonesboro. 


Are there public restrooms/rest area?

Yes, there are public restrooms at the concession stand area.


Is there parking? Is it limited? Or How long?

Yes, parking is included in the price of admission. We have several parking lots with directional officers. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.


Is there a vehicle size clearance?

All vehicles entering the park must be under 15’ in height.


Is there a limit of guests per vehicle/group rate?

General Admission passes are based on a standard vehicle that would seat up to eight people. Any vehicle over that capacity would be a Large Vehicle pass. There is no group rate, but there is a 10% discount on the purchase of 50 or more General Admission passes.
